Alvey wanted to try out a new advertising format. It will debut on the Surfcaster's Journal On-line Magazine/Facebook. They primarily cover surf fishing on the Northeast USA beaches. hamishchadwick.wixsite.com/alvey-usa

A new concept for me. Curious how it will work on the on-line fishing news/journal sites. This is an experiment for Alvey. They like their new marketing developer's talent. Probably expensive but, this would be a good angler's web site for advertising, www.theonlinefisherman.com/ . My regular go to. Florida based but, now going more national. I have swiped a few photos from this site over the years on this forum. The girly ones seemed unappropriate for here.

The latest on-line issue of the Surfcasters Journal (#43) is now available for viewing at: www.surfcastersjournal.com/ Besides the new advert, a nice long article with many pictures about Alvey reels.

Unfortunately, a bit late in the game. The USA advert was a bust. I don't know what Alvey's investment was. After 40+ years of spinning reel promotion, it is hard to get anglers to change. Even the traditional Penn Squider and Ambassador revolving spool reels are only used by a few experienced anglers who know how to use them. Sad.
