TORTUE TOURNAMENT SUPER CONTROL LINE. Any one use it on their Alveys I used it years ago and it worked well as it was stiff. I bought some the other day and it seems very thin and softer. also what do you Fellows use? Cheers Wally

I used Tortue decades ago, once. You right, my rememberings its a good but soft line. Nowadays I using Daiwa Justron. Its a budget one. A reasonable line at a a reasonable price. And you find out a lot at Ebay, free shipping, 500 m reel. Red Justron 5.0 is my favorite.

Hi Wally I have used it and thought it was great, never had a problem. It cast well , was smooth on and off the reel and I caught many a nice fish on it.That was years ago, they may of changed their formula but yeah I liked it.

Ebay also sells the Platypus line that Alvey is fond of.

I think a soft tip rod and a stretchy line works best using Circle hooks for me.. Guess it depends .... Zebco Cajun red has a line with less stretch and less expensive
